A Lawrenceville man and two juveniles told police they were robbed at Rhodes Jordan Park from a group they were going to purchase cell phones from.
A Lawrenceville man and two juveniles told police they were robbed at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville from a group they were going to purchase some phones from. According to the Lawrenceville police report, the incident occurred Feb. 17. Earlier in the day, the three males, two 14-year-olds and a 29-year-old, ran into four men at a phone kiosk near the food court in the Mall of Georgia in Buford. The four were disposing their old cell phones in a machine that would give them $6 per cell phone. The smaller group offered a deal to the four and said they would give them $10 per cell phone. Two Tennessee men were shot 15 times after they met with two others in what police believe was an illegal narcotics deal in Lawrenceville. Two suspects were arrested.

Two men were arrested in connection to what police believe was a drug deal gone bad in Lawrenceville. According to the Gwinnett County Docket Book and Lawrenceville Police reports, 22-year-old Roger Flint Ford, of Lawrenceville, and Leo Harvey were arrested in the incident, which resulted in two men being shot multiple times. Officers met with the two victims, a 22-year-old and 35-year-old from Tennessee, at Gwinnett Medical Center after the alleged shooting Feb. 3. The younger man was shot eight times in the lower abdomen, groin and legs, and the older man was hit seven times in the legs and wrist. The Gwinnett County Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating a serious injury accident that occurred in unincorporated Loganville on Highway 78 at 8:48 p.m. Sunday evening, according to GCPD spokesman Sgt. Brian Doan. Doan said early investigations show that a passenger car was travelling on Highway 78 eastbound at Hoke O'Kelly Mill road, and attempted to turn left This car was hit by a pickup truck traveling westbound on Highway 78. The pickup truck then struck a second passenger car waiting to turn onto Highway 78 from Hoke O'Kelly Mill Road. A "possibly suicidal and homicidal" man wanted on multiple charges in Gwinnett County is dead after crashing his car into a police cruiser in Des Moines, Iowa. Jeremiah Johnson, 33, who was pulled over by Gwinnett Police on Jan. 11 in Buford, led Iowa troopers on a high speed chase Feb. 15 that ended in a fatal crash. According to the Des Moines Register, speeds during the chase reached 110 miles per hour. Johnson's 5-year-old son, Johnnathan Johnson, was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. A 20-year-old college student is facing multiple drug charges after a Feb. 4 traffic stop on Harbins Road in Dacula. A Gwinnett County Police officer stopped the vehicle driven by Fashionette Diamonds Lee of Lawrenceville, Ga. after noticing her vehicle had an inoperative headlight and a "tag applied for" sign dispalyed instead of a license plate. According to the police report, Lee explained that she had purchased the vehicle a few days prior and had yet to obtain a plate. When asked for her license, Lee said she did not have it with her. Gwinnett County Police Department announced Friday (February 8) that three teens have been arrested in connection with the Dec. 19 murder of Paul Sampleton, 14, of Grayson. Officials say all three were fellow students at Grayson High School. Arrested and in custody are Larnell Sillah, 15, charged with homicide, Romaine Stewart, 18, and Achiel Morgan, 15, both charged with armed robbery. Sillah and Morgan have both been charged as adults, according to officials. "Detectives believe the motive for this crime was robbery," GCPD spokesman Jake Smith said in a press release. A Norcross woman was arrested for allegedly taking teenagers to get drugs, according to the Johns Creek Police Department. Here's what happened, based on the police incident report: On Sept. 7, a Johns Creek Police officer patrolling the Rivermont neighborhood noted three individuals standing at the rear of a car parked in front of a building where multiple narcotics arrests had been made in the past. The police officer questioned the individuals, who said they were waiting for one of their aunts. The officer left the area, but stayed where he could see them. Taking things into his own hands, a Stone Mountain pizza delivery man went after teens who had ordered pizza and wings but refused to pay, even after one of them brandished a gun.
