- Nov. 17: It’s Pet Photo Night with Santa Claus near Nordstrom’s at the Mall of Georgia (part of the mall’s Santa Photo Experience at the Buford-area mall). No exotic pets. (770-271-9458)

- Nov. 16: Yep, Santa arrives on a train at the Southeastern Railway Museum near Duluth. You don’t see that very often. (1 p.m., 770-495-0253, ext 2)
- Nov. 16-17: Repticon, called the biggest and most exciting reptile shows in Georgia, visits the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds near Lawrenceville this weekend. (Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., $5-$15)
