Kohl's Honors Gwinnett Youth for Volunteerism

Kohl's is recognizing local youth for their commitment to community service, and there are several winners from Gwinnett County.

Each of the winners receives a $50 gift card and a certificate from Kohl’s honoring their volunteerism. In Georgia, there are 69 winners. Seven are from the Gwinnett County area.

  • Juliana Carey, 12, Lawrenceville
  • Summer Hollis, 7   Loganville
  • Dalyla McGee, 18, Duluth
  • Jeffrey Ojwang, 18, Lawrenceville
  • Charles Orgbon, 17, Dacula
  • Remington Youngblood, 12, Duluth
Each now qualify to receive a $1,000 regional award from the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program. From there, 10 national winners will be selected and each will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarships.

Kohl’s will then donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.

This is the 13th year that Kohl's has honored volunteerism of local youth.
