Drivers Beware: These Gwinnett Roads May Be Closed for Construction

This week's road closures report from the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (for the week Aug. 30-Sept. 6).

  • Bermuda Road will require intermittent lane closures for two weeks beginning August 30 for sewer main improvements, weather permitting. For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678.376.7000.

Buford

  • Old Thompson Mill Road 2000 feet west of the intersection with Hosch Valley Road will close September 7 through mid-September for drainage improvements, weather permitting.  The detour will be Old Thompson Mill Road to North Puckett Road to Thompson Mill Road to Hosch Valley Road and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678.376.6926.

  • Peachtree Corners: Freedom Lane from South Berkeley Lake Road to South Old Peachtree Road, which was closed for emergency drainage repairs. 
  • Lilburn: Rivermist Drive from Red Fox Run to Hunting Ridge Drive, which was closed for drainage improvements.
