MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program Seeking Volunteers

The 10-week program ensures children's lunches each weekday during the summer in Gwinnett, and other metro Atlanta counties.

 

MUST Minitries is now in the beginning of its 2013 summer lunch program.

The 10-week initiative started May 28, and will run until August 6. Hundreds of meals are delivered each weekday to local families in need.

Here in Gwinnnett County, the summer program is organized out of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church off Old Peachtree Road in Peachtree Corners.

Reached on the busy first day, Gwinnett coordinator said she is most in need of volunteers. This includes drivers lunch packers, but donations are also still being accepted, she said.

"We'll take any donation they're willing to give us," she said.

MUST Ministries has been operating the summer lunch program for 17 years.
