Last Minute Labor Day Road Trips

Where can you go to celebrate the end of summer without spending a ton on gas?

Athens – There’s more to do in Athens than just cheer on the Dawgs. Just about 50 minutes away from Gwinnett, you can easily get there and back on one tank of gas. Check out the or the . Augusta – Home to the Augusta National Golf Club and James Brown, there’s plenty to see and do in Augusta. The drive is about two and half hours from Gwinnett. Take a one-hour boat tour on the Augusta Canal or tour the childhood home of President Woodrow Wilson. End the day with a walk on the Riverwalk and enjoy the gardens, live music and, of course, views of the river.
