My mothers pain,,

A little history: I was raised in a very clean house with a loving mother and father,, However Dad fell out of love with mom and their  marriage fell apart despite her efforts. She tried to start over at 42, She kept loosing battles and became alcoholic and then developed cancer. Her childhood was very rough with an alcoholic father and her mother dying when she was 9.. She was in and out of abusive foster homes and on the streets at 13,,  I wish now I had understood her pain,, I kept her close the last 5 years of her life as she battled the cancer. My father developed brain cancer and he came to me for care about the last 2 months of his life,,  They played cards and smiled their last weeks together like two people newly in love again. Dad passed and then Mom passed a few weeks later,, She followed her only love home.. 

People ask me if kidney stones or having a baby is more painful.. Now I would say that the most pain I have ever felt is my Love Explosions. Kidney stones and having a baby only last for a few days and are intense but the pain of a Love Explosion can last a life time and the only relief is death for some. RIP mom. I know you are ok now,, Love you always..
