Norcross Schools Score Big in Hilton Invitational
The boys basketball teams for Greater Atlanta Christian School and Norcross High played and won in their games Saturday.
Two Norcross-area boys basketball teams, Greater Atlanta Christian School and Norcross High, came out on top in last Saturday's Hilton Invitational, a series of games involving 12 teams from local Georgia schools and numerous states.
It was a close game for who also hosted the fifth-annual event. The Blue Devils defeated Dematha High, from Maryland, with an end score of 68-67, according to HoopSeen.com.
Calling it the "best game of the Hilton Invitational," the website gave special notice to senior Brandon Goodwin, who finished with not only 21 points but also the game's winning goal with seven seconds left.
