The Gwinnett Braves have announced plans for a new "Christmas in July" promotion that will treat local families in need to a night of baseball.
The event is planned for July 20, when the Gwinnett Braves play against Indianapolis.
To make the special evening happen, the team -- in conjunction with local charities -- is asking for the community's support.
For $160 organizations or individuals can sponsor 20 underprivileged children and their families for the night. Sponsorship levels range from $160 to $1,600. Donations must be made by July 12.

Donors will have their names listed on the Gwinnett Braves website, as well as on social media, and receive VIP seats for the game.
