You Didn't Win Powerball - Now What?

Your $2 investment failed to pay off ... again. Are there better things you could do with two bucks?

Had you already mapped out how you were going to spend your $448 million Powerball fortune? If so, you were among the millions of players who were sorely disappointed after the Aug. 7 drawing.

A few winning jackpot tickets were sold, but none in Georgia. CNN reports two winning tickets were purchased in New Jersey and one in Minnesota. The winning numbers (in case you were wondering just how wrong yours were): 5, 25, 30, 58, 59 and a Powerball number of 32.

Georgia players didn't end the day entirely empty-handed, however. According to the Georgia Lottery website, three players won $1 million by matching five numbers. Six Georgia players will take home a $10,000 prize. Heck, 65,002 players got a 100 percent return on their investment by matching just the Powerball for a $4 prize. That's not too shabby right?

Nationwide, over 4 million players collected a total of $66.8 million in non-jackpot prizes during the Wednesday drawing.

What if you weren't one of the lucky ones that netted a decent return on your $2 investment? Do you regret buying two bucks worth of dreaming? After all, you can't win if you don't enter. Maybe buying a ticket wasn't a bad idea ...

But then again, are there better uses for your $2? That's what we'd like to know. What do you think is the best way to spend two extra dollars? A Powerball ticket? A cup of coffee? Gum? Charitable donation? Let us know in the comments below.
