Four Gwinnett Schools Named 2012 'Schools of Excellence'
Schools in Lilburn, Duluth, Auburn and Hoschton made the list.
State officials announced Tuesday that four Gwinnett County schools are '2012 Georgia Schools of Excellence' in student achievement.
A total of 28 schools across the state received the honor, which highlights the highest performance and greatest gains in the College and Career-Ready Performance Index.
Each noted school will get a $1,000 check from Georgia Natural Gas.
Gwinnett County Public Schools' winners are:
- Highest Performance: R.D. Head Elementary (Lilburn), Harris Elementary (Duluth), and Mulberry Elementary (Auburn)
- Highest Progress: Frank N. Osborne Middle (Hoschton)
