More Positive Recognition for Suwanee

The city ranked No. 1 in four areas in the 2012 National Citizens Survey.

The City Of Suwanee has reaped more accolades for its efforts for livability.

According to a city news release, the city ranked No. 1 in four key areas in the 2012 National Citizens Survey.

In the 2012 survey, conducted in November, residents’ responses made Suwanee No. 1 in land use/planning and zoning; preservation of natural areas; city parks; and availability of affordable quality child care.

Residents’ ratings placed Suwanee among the top 10 performing communities in 32 of 117 questions -- 27 percent, the release added.
