Mayor of Lilburn to Visit Southeast Europe

Mayor Johnny Crist is off to the Republic of Kosovo to give lectures and talks on leadership and team building to government officials.

The mayor of Lilburn is taking his first international trip as an elected official next week.

Johnny Crist will be visiting the Republic of Kosovo, a predominantly Muslim country in southeast Europe. There, he'll be speaking with government and business leaders on team building and working together as an organization.

"They work independently of one another [with] not a lot of trust, so I've prepared a series of talks on leadership concepts and how that moves into team building," said Crist. "What I teach about is the five dysfunctions of a team. ... I'll be talking about honesty, self-leadership, and leadership in an organization from the top down."
