Woman Says Ex-Boyfriend Threatened Her, Attempted to Cause Car Crash

Man also a suspect in theft of woman's phone and GPS.

A woman sought refuge at her father’s Dacula home after an alleged assault by her ex-boyfriend.

The 24-year-old Buford woman told police she was giving her ex-boyfriend a ride home from Athens in the early morning hours of Jan. 19 when he became upset after she would not give him the passcode to her phone. 

“She stated he was intoxicated and began pushing her head up against the driver’s side window and attempting to make her crash her vehicle,” the officer wrote in the report.
