Trailers Burglarized at Harbins Park Construction Site

Computer monitor, trash bags listed among the items taken.

Two construction trailers and two storage containers were damaged during a recent burglary at the Harbins Park construction site.

A contractor called police after arriving at work on Sept. 17 and discovering the damage. According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the burglar or burglars cut the metal surrounding the lock on one of the trailers in order to access the metal security bar and open the door. The only items missing from the trailer were a computer monitor and trash bags form two trash bag boxes.

The lock on the second mobile office was cut, but the building did not appear to have been entered.

The contractor advised that the burglar or burglars had also unsuccessfully attempted to cut the lock on one of the company’s storage containers. Another storage container, owned by a different contractor, was entered. The only item listed as missing was a generator.

The burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between 2 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 17.
