Gift-Card Reward Offered in Theft of 12 Guns
Snellville Police are offering a Playstation 3 or Best Buy gift card for information leading to an arrest.
On Sept. 11, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., unknown persons entered a home in the Hawthorne Glen subdivision in Snellville through a back window.
They took 12 weapons, including handguns, shotguns and rifles. One of the rifles was an AR-15, an assault rifle.
Snellville Police are offering a reward in the form of a $350 Best Buy gift card or a Playstation 3.

"We believe that there is a possibility that juveniles are involved," said Sgt. Trey Downs, "so we thought offering this reward would be more appealing to the group we are targeting."
Downs said that any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it is imperative that they locate these weapons and get them off the streets.
