R&B Singer Reportedly Struck and Killed on Lawrenceville Hwy
Investigators are trying to determine exactly what caused the fatal accident Friday night in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Ga.
A driver heading down Lawrenceville Hwy in unincorporated Lawrenceville reportedly struck a woman who was walking in the road. The accident happened Friday at about 10:30pm near Hamilton Road. That woman, identified as Natina Reed, was given CPR on the scene and taken to Gwinnett Medical Center where she died about a half hour after the accident.
According to Gwinnett County Police Sgt. Rich Long, the driver of the red Honda did stop to call 911 for help after hitting Reed. Long says the driver is not at fault and will not face any charges.
