New Officers Join Lilburn Police

In December, two new officers -- both residents of Lilburn -- joined the city's police department.

The city of Lilburn welcome two new officers to its police ranks in December, and both of the men are Lilburn residents.

Chris Hall is a native resident of Lilburn native, who graduated from Brookwood High School in Snellville. He is currently pursuing a criminal justice degree. He is a member of the Georgia Army National Guard and assigned to the 190th Military Police Company in Kennesaw. In April 2012, he returned from a year's deployment to Afghanistan.

Daniel McCarthy is a graduate of St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta. He went on to attend St. Louis University, where he obtained a degree in criminal justice. Before moving to Lilburn, he served four years as a police officer in St. Louis, Mo.
