Missing Gwinnett Man Found Dead Inside Truck in South Cobb County
Missing since Thursday, 78-year-old Edward Smith was found dead Tuesday evening in Mableton, Ga. His grandson is one of two people charged in his death.
Officials in Cobb County are reporting that a missing Lilburn man has been discovered dead inside his truck in Mableton.
The man was identified as 78-year-old Edward Smith, of Lilburn, according to news reports. Missing since Thursday, Smith's body was discovered May 7 at approximately 8:18 p.m., officials said.
The man's grandson, Casey Collins, is one of two people being held on a felony murder charge in connection with his death. Sarah Cook, Collins' girlfriend, also is charged.

Both suspects are being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, officials said.
