A Norcross teen told police that three men knocked on his door Christmas night, pulled a gun and knife on him, and forced him to steal his mother's car, which he wrecked.

According to the Norcross Police report, Gwinnett County Police contacted the city department so that Norcross could look into an incident concerning a local woman and her car that had crashed in Lawrenceville.

Police found the driver to be her 15-year-old son, who did not have permission to drive it.

When officers spoke to the son later that evening, he told them that the incident started at approximately 3 a.m after he heard knocking at the door. He opened the door and saw three men, one of whom he recognized as someone he went to school with.

The peer was holding a knife, the son said. Another man pulled out a gun and instructed him to get his mother's car keys, or else he would shoot at his house. With his red-nose pit bull by his side, the son got the keys and tried to give it to the suspects, but they told him he was going with them to drive the car.
