Man Turned Down for Job, Then Robs Norcross Car Wash

Inside the Police Reports: The owner told police that the suspect asked for a job before robbing his business.

A car wash in the Norcross area was allegedly robbed earlier this month after the suspect inquired about open job positions.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the owner had been cleaning the parking lot late one Friday morning and returned to his office to find a man inside. He asked for a job, and the owner told him that he wasn't hiring at the moment. The man walked away toward Hillcrest Road.

He returned a short time later, this time with a handgun. He told the owner to give him all his money and his driver's license. The victim complied, and the alleged robber walked away toward Indian Trail Road by the Chevron gas station.
