Man in Wheelchair Reportedly Threatens to Bring 'Iron Pigs' to Kill Officer and Family

Police called to a downtown Buford restaurant after security personnel detained the man.

A Buford man allegedly threatened to come to an officer's house with other members of the "Iron Pigs" and kill the officer.

The man, who was in a wheelchair, had been detained in handcuffs by security personnel at 37 Main on March 17 after reportedly throwing beer bottles on the floor and breaking them, pulling over speakers and entering the ladies' restroom. When security personnel asked him to leave, the man, later identified as David Bensinger, 52, of Buford, did not comply.

"Bensinger became combative head butting one security guard and ripping the shirt of another," the officer wrote in the report. "He was so combative that they placed him in handcuffs."
