Lawrenceville Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Near High School

A Gwinnett County Public Schools spokesperson says the shooting happened near Phoenix High School.

One person is dead and two others injured following a shooting near a high school in the City of Lawrenceville Monday.

Lawrenceville Police Captain Greg Vaughn tells Patch the shooting happened at 12:38pm on McConnell Drive, right behind Phoenix High School.

The two injured victims were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center. Their injuries are unknown at this time.
