'America's Most Wanted' to Feature Gwinnett Cold Case

The unsolved murder of Kay Wenal from 2008 will be featured on the Lifetime channel show Friday evening.

Who killed Eva "Kay" Wenal?

 Detectives have been trying to figure that out since she was murdered in 2008. And now they hope to get leads from a national television show.

"America's Most Wanted" will feature this cold case on their show Friday, Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. It will air during an episode called “The Bold, The Bad and The Brazen.”

Wenal was murdered at her home on Sugar Lake Court, in unincorporated Lawrenceville on May 1, 2008. Her husband Harold “Hal” Wenal found his wife's body. Mr. Wenal was ruled out as a suspect before he died of natural causes in 2010.
