Gwinnett Police Don't Believe Homicide of Robert Mixon Was Random Crime

Police say Mixon lived in the apartment complex where he was found dead.

Gwinnett Police say they do not believe it was a random crime, the homicide of Robert Mixon, who was found dead of a gunshot wound Friday, Nov. 2, at a Duluth-area apartment complex.

Police reported that Mixon, 33, was a resident at Menlo Park Apartments, where his body was found Friday afternoon, sometime after 3:40 p.m. The apartments are located at 4370 Satellite Blvd.

Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith offered no additional details, other than the case is still active.
