Front Window Smashed at Hamilton Mill Business in Attempted Burglary

But strangely, nothing was reported stolen.

A Hamilton Mill Road business was burglarized on Jan. 20, but strangely nothing was taken.

A Gwinnett County Police officer was dispatched to Redooz, located at 2725 Hamilton Mill Road, after an employee at a nearby business noticed the front glass of Redooz had been smashed.

The officer checked the inside of the business, but found no one inside. When the officer entered the business, the alarm activated but there was no record of any previous alarm notifications from the business.

Once the owner arrived at the scene, she checked the business as well and indicated that nothing appeared to be missing. Electronics, money and other valuables were still inside the store, the police report stated.

“A small display of rings had been knocked off a table and one was damaged,” the officer wrote in the report. “The stool behind the counter was knocked over. Also, there was glass on and behind the counter. The items knocked over and the glass led me to believe the business was entered, but it was strange no theft occurred.”
