Door Damaged, iPad Stolen During Christmas Eve Burglary

Resident was away from home for several hours on Dec. 24.

A burglar or burglars definitely did not make Christmas merry and bright for a Hamilton Mill resident.

Gwinnett County Police were called to the 3300 block of Lamont Terrace on Christmas Eve after a resident returned home to find someone had burglarized his home.

According to the police report, the resident left the home at about 11 a.m. When he returned at 7 p.m., he noticed his iPad 4 was not where he had left it. The resident then walked into his kitchen and noticed the back door of the home had been forced open and damaged.
