Cash, Gaming Systems Stolen From Pub in Gwinnett

The manager of Bailen's Pub in Lilburn told police that the bar top games are worth $8,000.

Cash and thousands of dollars worth of gaming systems were reported stolen recently in a burglary at Bailen's Pub in Lilburn.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the bar, which is located at 865 Indian Trail Road, was broken into by someone smashing the front door sometime between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Jan. 22.

The suspect entered the restaurant and went through the pub's cash drawer and took the cash. The person also took two Mega Touch bar top gaming computers, which the manager said is worth $4,000 a piece.

The suspect attempted to pry open a large machine safe located near the smashed door but was unsuccessful. A lockbox safe filled with documents also was opened, and the contents were scattered over the floor.

The manager told police that the suspect could have been someone close to her who asked to borrow some money. Other than that, there are no suspects in the case.
