Genealogy Research (Level I- Beginners)

Genealogy Research Level I is an 8-week course for those who are interested in researching their family history and/or need help organizing their research. Students will learn the basic skills needed in starting genealogy research and do actual research via mail, the Web, and on-site at a local repository. Students will leave this course with an ancestor chart (min 4-generations),  an organized research binder and document binder,as well as tools to continue their research.


There will also be another 8-week course (Genealogy Research Level II) offered beginning March 20 2013.  All Genealogy courses will be on Wednesday evenings. Level I will be from 6:30pm - 7:45pm starting January16 (no class Jan23) with a second offering starting March 20 (No class April 10). Level II will be from 7:50pm - 9pm starting March 20 (No class April 10)
