Local Veterans Asked to Participate in Memorial Day Parade

We are looking for veterans of all wars to participate in the 20th annual Dacula Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27, 2013.  The theme for this year’s parade is “20 Years of Honor and Remembrance”. 

We will have a special float in the parade this year just for veterans to ride on.  Mr. Jerome Beggs of the Buford Corn Maze in Buford has offered his wagon to carry veterans in the parade this year.

If you are a veteran or if you know of any veterans, we want you!  We want to recognize and honor you in the 20th annual Dacula Memorial Day parade!

Seating is limited, so contact Marvin Atherton at mda411@bellsouth.net as soon as possible to register your Veteran for a seat on this special float.
