Lake Lanier Home Used in Upcoming Schwarzenegger Film

Proceeds from movie production rental fees were donated to Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc. (FIRST).

The Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc. (FIRST) recently received a $35,000 contribution thanks in part to an upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

Mike Briggs, President-Elect for Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc. (FIRST), was asked approached by a scouting crew and asked if his Lake Lanier home could be used as a location in “Ten,” an Arnold Schwarzenegger film slated for release in 2014.

“I told them they were free to film at my home, as long as they agreed to donate all of the rental fees associated with the use of my property to FIRST,” said Briggs, who will become President of FIRST beginning in January 2013.  “When the producers heard that, they decided to make the donation larger and have donated $35,000 to the Foundation. We couldn’t be more thrilled.”
