Atlanta Silverbacks Win North American Soccer League Spring Title
This season is the first time the team has won the championship.
The Atlanta Silverbacks won the North American Soccer League spring title last Thursday (July 4).
The first-time championship victory comes after the 3-0 defeat against Minnesota in an away game and a 6-3 season for the Silverbacks, according to Head Coach Brian Haynes.
The 27-player team had to step it up this season since the they ranked last among the league's seven teams the previous year.
