Hispanic Heritage Celebration Part of Library’s Fall Into the Arts 2013

Gwinnett County Public Library invites the public to the Excursions Series Latin Music Concert Pachanga and Dance Celebration on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in celebration of its Fall Into the Arts 2013 program and in partnership with Georgia Gwinnett College.  Excursions is a regular concert series collaboration with Georgia Gwinnett College featuring international, traditional, and classical music performed by local musicians.  This event is being held in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and features both a salsa demonstration at 6:30 PM and a performance by the band Orquesta MaCuba at 7:30 PM. 

The event will take place at Georgia Gwinnett College on the Student Center Patio. Georgia Gwinnett College is located at 1000 University Center Lane, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.

Gwinnett County Public Library and its partners invite the public to this annual celebration of the literary, performing, and visual arts.  A recent recipient of awards from the Georgia Arts Network, Urban Libraries Council and ArtWorks! Gwinnett, Fall Into The Arts seeks to foster a sense of community in Gwinnett County through jointly sponsored programs and to encourage a lifelong love of the arts, literacy, and learning.

Seats at events are available on a first come, first serve basis.  This event is free and open to the public.
