Fall Into The Arts Series Celebrates Local Artists as Part of the Gwinnett Plein Air Challenge
Buford, GA – September, 2013
Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation, Gwinnett Parks Foundation, Tannery Row Artists Colony, and the library will host a reception and award ceremony honoring local artists as part of this year’s Fall Into The Arts series. In partnership with Tannery Row Artist Colony and Gwinnett Parks and Recreation, the celebration recognizes artists who participated in the second annual Plein Air Art Challenge. Paintings created this year in public parks throughout Gwinnett County will be on display at Tannery Row Artist Colony where winners will be chosen at a reception on Saturday, September 14th, 2013. The reception will take place from 3:00-7:00 PM; the awards ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served and music will be provided by Gwinnett School of Music.

About Fall Into The Arts:
Gwinnett County Public Library and its partners invite the public to this annual celebration of the literary, performing, and visual arts. A recent recipient of awards from the Georgia Arts Network, Urban Libraries Council and ArtWorks! Gwinnett, Fall Into The Arts seeks to foster a sense of community in Gwinnett County through jointly sponsored programs and to encourage a lifelong love of the arts, literacy, and learning.

Seats at events are available on a first come, first serve basis. Tannery Row Artist Colony is located at 554 West Main Street in Buford. Parking for the event is in the rear of the building.
