Two New Shops Coming to Downtown Duluth

Two more new businesses are coming to downtown Duluth.

Beverly Norris is opening The Farmhouse Home Décor & Gifts in early April at 3107A Main Street. Davina Cates plans to open The Vintage Styled Life in early May around the corner at 3107C Main Street.

Both shops lease space in a more than 130-year-old building owned by Mike Burrell at the corner of Main and West Lawrenceville streets. The Farmhouse space contains about 1,000 square feet. The Vintage Styled Life will occupy about 1,500 square feet.

When they open this entire historic block in downtown Duluth will be filled with tenants. Crave Pie Studio already occupies 3107B in Burrell’s building.

Other businesses in the block include Trish Land; Peace, Love & Decorating, Eye Candy Art Studio, Steverino’s Pizza, Focal Point Kitchen & Bath, Hardeman Fine Art Glass, and This, That & Other Market Place.

Eye Candy Studio Art is celebrating its grand opening March 22 & 23 with special activities for the public.

The Farmhouse will offer antique furniture for sale along with home accessories, art, pottery, and jewelry. Norris has operated a booth at the Lakewood 400 Antique Market in Cumming for the past eight years.

Hours for her Duluth shop will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. It will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Cates will sell vintage antiques and home accessories in her shop and rent items as props for weddings, parties, photo shoots, and other special activities. She also does home staging for owners selling their houses.

A floral designer, Cates partners with other companies to offer complete wedding and party planning services.
