Farmers Market Comes to Suwanee Again for 2013

The vendor-community gathering begins Saturday in Town Center Park.

Vegetables, granola, aromatic soaps ... and shoppers ... will begin gathering this Saturday (May 4) for the 2013 version of the Suwanee Farmers Market.

The twice-weekly event will take place Saturday (8 a.m.-noon) and Tuesday (4-7 p.m.) through October 5 at Town Center Park, according to a city news release.

Amy Doherty, events coordinator for Suwanee, says that vendors on Saturday have increased by about five from years past. She said they include King of Pops, which sells gourmet popsicles, locally roasted coffee, and many vendors with produce.
