Business Spotlight: Historic Norcross Chiropractic

Dr. David Bell is the new owner of downtown office right on South Peachtree Street.

Downtown Norcross has a new doctor in town, and his name is David Bell.

Bell is the new owner of Historic Norcross Chiropractic, located at 39A S. Peachtree St. Having been in the field since 2007, he practices multiple techniques and utilizes several different therapies to patients of all ages, from infants to elders.

After purchasing the downtown business, Bell and his family moved to the city, too. Norcross Patch spoke with the chiropractor to learn a little bit more about him and his practice.

When did you purchase the Norcross business? I purchased Historic Norcross Chiropractic near the end of September of 2012. I was the clinic director for a chiropractic practice in Hoschton, Ga., for the past two years.

And you also live in Norcross? When did you move to Norcross? My wife and I moved to downtown Norcross this past October, we’re brand new!

What inspired you to move your family/business to Norcross? Before we moved here, my wife and I would frequent downtown Norcross. We had picnics at Thrasher Park, enjoyed breakfast at 45 South Cafe and lunch at Mojitos; we loved the atmosphere downtown. Once we moved here, we grew to love the rich history of Norcross, the friendly business owners and welcoming neighbors. There is always something going on downtown! Whether it’s simply taking your dog for a walk, or enjoying an open-air market, art festival or concert, there is always something happening! Norcross is such a charming place, and we are incredibly happy to be here, and be a part of this amazing town.

Describe your profession. Chiropractic care seeks to turn on the body’s natural healing ability. Chiropractic care doesn’t add anything to the natural system; instead it removes anything that might interfere with natural function through spinal manipulation (what we call adjustments). Chiropractic trusts that the body would know what to do if nothing were interfering with it. Chiropractic focuses on the spine and nervous system. As a doctor, my job is to locate and correct misalignments in the spine as to free the nervous system from interference, and let your body perform at its best, naturally.
