(Video) Blue Rooster Reopens in Gwinnett

The restaurant closed its doors in Lilburn in 2010, but has reopened in Lawrenceville.

After 10 years in Lilburn, the Blue Rooster Café & Bakery has reopened its doors in downtown Lawrenceville.

The restaurant officially reopened March 18.

Co-owners and sisters-in-law Kyle and Donna Caves were excited on the big day, as they braved cold, rainy weather to talk to customers.

Previously, the restaurant occupied 107 Main Street in Old Town Lilburn, but closed just after Christmas in 2010. The original owners, who included Kyle Caves, were longtime residents of Lilburn, who wanted a place for homestyle cuisine.

Locals would flock to the Main Street restaurant to dine on chicken salad, fried chicken or pick up one of their popular box lunches. When it closed, Old Town Lilburn became void of any place to eat.
