While his family is home preparing for a wonderful Christmas holiday in Kentucky, Rusty sits in a medical tent in Iraq, at the bedside of Joe, a wounded army buddy. At home, Rusty's wife Danielle and their children gather for dinner.

Joe needs a miracle to help him make it through the night. He left his young wife Miranda and a baby he hasn't seen yet to fight for his country.

Rusty shares his stories of home, traditions and family dinner in hopes they will work magic on Joe. After all, Rusty was born on Christmas Day and has a strong faith in God.
