'Fish and Sips' Helping to Restock Berkeley Lake

Eye Candy Art Studio in downtown Duluth offering fish painting and wine sipping class Wednesday, May 1, to raise funds to put fish back in Berkeley Lake.

Eye Candy Art Studio in Duluth is offering a “Fish and Sips” painting and wine sipping class to raise funds to restock the fish in the lake at nearby Berkeley Lake. The lake was drained and the fish removed to repair the dam.

Ashley Towers, owner of the art and pottery shop, will lead the class starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. Participants may bring their own bottles of wine.

“Carol Seitz of the Berkeley Lake community approached Eye Candy Art Studio about collaborating to help raise funds for re-stocking the lake,” Towers said. “She cleverly named the event ‘Fish and Sips’ to play off the term ‘Fish & Chips.’” A fish-themed canvas painting class was decided upon.
