Casting Calls Go Out for Adam Sandler Movie Shoot

Adam Sandler sightings could become frequent in Gwinnett this summer.

There were some earlier this week in Buford, as the star began filming the movie "Blended" in the area. And there will be another "take" on Friday, July 19, at the Hooters restaurant in Lawrenceville, according to website info.

According to a Facebook post from Tammy Smith Casting Agency, filming at Hooters (860 Duluth Highway) will take place "early morning until evening." 

Also, there will reportedly be another shooting at Johnson Pharmacy in Buford on July 23. And casting has begun to shoot a youth league baseball scene during the week of July 29.

The movie also stars Drew Barrymore, and filming also will be in the Lake Lanier area through Aug. 16.
