American Idol Auditions at Gwinnett Center: What You Need to Know
The Atlanta-area auditions take place July 26, but registration opens July 25.
Season 13 American Idol auditions have commenced, and this year Atlanta-area hopefuls do not have far to go. The casting team is coming to Gwinnett County.
It is one of seven audition locations for the popular singing competition this year. The auditions officially begin today, July 11, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Atlanta-area auditions will take place July 26 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, but registration begins the day prior on July 25.

Aspiring singers are encouraged to register early, and should also note that a registration doesn't not guarantee an audition.
If you register and receive that coveted wristband and seat ticket, DO NOT remove the wristband -- AT ALL. If you do, your registration will be null and void.

Also, no overnight sleeping will be allowed at the venue.
