Ring in the New Year on Duluth Town Green

Festive activities include a Winter Carnival, Chick-fil-A Bowl viewing on a giant screen, DJ music, a dance party band, and midnight fireworks. Downtown shops and restaurants will be open.

Ring in 2013 in downtown Duluth with winter activities on the Duluth Town Green and live music on the Duluth Festival Center Stage.

This family-friendly celebration Monday, Dec 31, will include dancing to a DJ, Chick-fil-A Bowl viewing on a giant screen, a Winter Carnival, and a performance by The American Flyers Show Band

The carnival will feature a gigantic snow slide, inflatables, rides, games, and food and beverage vendors. The snow slide is free.

“Crawl” through downtown to visit shops and dine in the restaurants.  

At midnight, the city’s logo will ascend upwards amidst a spectacular display of fireworks and shouts of "Happy New Year!"

The New Year’s Eve festivities start at 6 p.m. and conclude at 12:30 a.m. Admission is free. There will be nominal charges for Winter Carnival activities, food and beverages.
