Gwinnett Area Moms Don't Get 'Shark Tank' Deal, But ...

Despite the fact that none of the "Sharks" picked up Loganville, Ga.,-based company Addison's Wonderland during the airing of ABC's entrepreneurial show "Shark Tank" on Feb. 22, the co-owners said the exposure was well worth it.

"This is like $1 million worth of advertising," said Brooke Bryant, one of the owners of the company that appeared on the Feb. 22 airing of the show. In fact, the exposure crashed the website Friday night during the airing of the show.

All four of the Sharks in ABC's show 'Shark Tank' opted out of picking up a $90,000 buy in to the line of children's bedding, saying that the business seemed well on its way without them. A viewing party at Johnny's Pizza in Loganville on Friday evening, however, had all the excitement of a great deal. The two moms who co-own Addison's Wonderland had been waiting months to be able to share the news of their appearance on the show.

Brittany Hayes started Addison's Wonderland when she Brittany started AW when she was searching for bedding for her little girl, Addison, and couldn't find anything that wasn't themed or filled with pastels. Brooke Bryant is her best friend and business partners.

They were one of the few chosen to participate out of 36,000 companies that applied for the show. They were not able to let anyone know what the outcome of their appearance was before the episode aired.
