Gwinnett Police say three men robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Lawrenceville, Ga. They have arrested one suspect and are still looking for two others.
One suspect in an armed robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Lawrenceville last month is now in police custody. However, Gwinnett County Police are still looking for two potential accomplices in the crime.
On Friday, Dec. 28, two black males wearing masks walked into the Wells Fargo bank at 3065 Lawrenceville Highway just before 9:30am. This branch is located in the parking lot of the Walmart Neighborhood Market.
The two men inside the bank have been identified by GCPD as 26-year-old Jamar Terrell of 2769 Herrington Woods Road, Lawrenceville and 24-year-old Marcus “Bankhead” Rutledge.
Police say Terrell is the suspect armed with a handgun and Rutledge is wielding a shotgun in the video. The two men forced bank tellers to fill a duffle bag with money. They left the bank with $12,262.09 in cash and checks. The robbery took just about one minute.
