Trickum Middle Art Teacher Honored

Aimeé Burgamy received top honors from the Woodruff Arts Center for advancing the cause of art education.

 

A Trickum Middle School teacher recently received top honors as a visual arts educator, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Public Schools.

The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta named Aimeé Burgamy its 2012 Visual Arts Educator, as part of its program "Woodruff Salutes Georgia Arts in Education Leaders."

In October, the county Board of Education recognized Burgamy and her principal, Kay Sands, for the honor, as well.
