Norcross' Mojitos Restaurant Burglarized

Inside the Police Reports: The downtown restaurant reported that cash was taken.

The owner of the popular Norcross restaurant Mojitos reported a burglary took place in the business this month.

According to the Norcross Police report, the incident occurred the evening of Sunday, Oct. 7. The owner received a text around 7:30 p.m. from his brother, whom he left to close up the business for the day, about some cash that was inside the restaurant. The cash needed to be picked up and deposited, so the owner went to the 35 Peachtree St. business at 9:30 p.m.

He told police that he found the back French doors unlocked and most of the cash gone, according to the report. The owner said nothing else seemed to be taken.
