The 2012 Georgia Sportswriters Association All-State Football Teams were released this week, and a few football gems from the Norcross area made it in.

According to the Gwinnett Daily Post citing the Associated Press, players from both Norcross High and Greater Atlanta Christian were on the teams for their respective classes.

The Class AAAAAA team had six players from the Blue Devils, and the Spartans had four football players in Class AA. Norcross head coach Keith Maloof was named the Coach of the Year and running back Alvin Kamara received the Offensive Player of the Year title.
