Former Boyfriend Arrested in Connection to Death of Jasmine Benjamin
Darien Joseph Meheux, 18, of Lawrenceville, has been charged in the homicide of the Valdosta State student.
Jasmine Benjamin, 17, will be laid to rest Thursday in Lawrenceville, Ga. The college student was found dead in a study room at Valdosta State College earlier this month.

An arrest has been made in the murder case of 17 year old Jasmine Benjamin of Lawrenceville.
According to CBS Atlanta, Darien Joseph Meheux, 18, of Lawrenceville, turned himself in to the Schley County Sheriff's Office Thursday and was arrested. He was the boyfriend of Benjamin according to a private investigator hired by the girl's family.
Benjamin was a freshman at Valdosta State University and a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School.
